A: Would you like to go to an amusement park with me today?
B: Been there, done that. Bought the T-shirt.
A: So is that a yes?
B: That would be a no.
A: Why don't you want to go?
B: I've already been several times in the past few months. I don't want to go again.
A : 오늘 나와 함께 놀이공원에 가고 싶니?
B : 거기 가봤고 이미 다 알아. T셔츠도 샀어.
A : 그래서 간다는 거야?
B : 안 간다는 거야.
A : 왜 가고 싶지 않은데?
B : 지난 몇 달 동안 몇 번이나 이미 가 봤어. 다시 가고 싶지는 않아.

‘Been there, done that.’은 비 격식적인 표현으로 ‘이미 가봤고 다 안다’라는 의미입니다. 뒤에 ‘Bought the T-shirt.’ 혹은 ‘Got the T-shirt.’가 자주 오는 것을 볼 수 있는데 이는 어떤 곳에서 기념품을 파는 가게에 흔히 있는 있는 T-shirt를 갔다 왔다는 것을 보여주기 위해서 샀다는 의미로 해석됩니다.
Ex) A: I hear there is another new rave club starting up downtown. 시내에 새로 연 또 다른 레이브 클럽이 있다고 들었어.
B: Been there, done that, got the T-shirt - just not interested anymore. 거기 가 봤고 이미 다 알아. T-shirt도 샀어. 더 이상 흥미 없어.
